Olive Oil

Olive oil is good for you and can be used in a variety of ways while cooking. Olive oil contains a good fat that flushes the bad fats out of your body. You NEED fats, and you need good fats so use olive oil! Use extra virgin olive oil.

Use while cooking: Instead of using vegetable oil or a spray, use real olive oil instead. If you do not like the taste, go for the lite tasting one.

Use in a salad. Mix it with balsamic vinegar and some herbs and you’re good to go! Another option is mixing it with dijon mustard.

Use as a marinate. Try this. Take a ziplock bag, add two tbone steaks, a 1/2 cup of olive oil and 1/2 cup of lemon juice, throw in some garlic and thyme and you got yourself a very tasty marinade!

Use as a hotoil treatment for you hair, ok so its not for cooking, but its healthy!

Use olives, diced and sliced into a lite sour cream as a dip. YUM.
